A guide that never stands still

The magic of London's theatre scene is that it never stands still. New productions open every month, established favourites refresh their casts, limited runs come and go, and every performance offers something slightly different from the last. For that reason, this guide has been designed rather differently from a traditional book. Rather than becoming out of date almost as soon as it is printed, London Theatreland is intended to be a living guide. New reviews, additional theatres, updated ratings, fresh photography and the latest productions will be added on a regular basis, ensuring that the guide continues to grow and evolve.

The reviews are based on my own visits to London's theatres and reflect my personal opinions. Theatre is wonderfully subjective, however, and what delights one person may leave another unconvinced. That diversity of opinion is part of what makes live performance so special.
